Fabric Flowers again

I still haven't got copies of photos on how my mom made fabric flowers :(

To make up for it though, I searched videos on YouTube that you can watch & follow :)

And as promised, here are the photos of what I did with the fabric flowers my mom made :)

 So these are the flowers.

The small ones..

 And the big ones!

 It's better to separate them according to their sizes so that when you lay them out, you won't have a hard time choosing which flower you're gonna use.

 Lay them on the blouse (on the part you want to put them. In this case, on the neckline)

 Get your sewing pins.

 Pin the flowers in place.

 And sew away!

 Yes. Sew with a dog beside you. Haha :D

 Sew the flowers on, one by one.

 It takes lots of patience.

 Every once in awhile, you might get pricked by the pins.

 But it's all worth it when you're done :)

 Just keep sewing, just keep sewing, just keep sewing..

(Sung in the tune of Just Keep Swimming from Finding Nemo)

 Keep sewing..

 And before you know it, you're done! :)

I'll post a pic of the finished blouse maybe tomorrow :)

Fabric Flowers

I'll just be posting pics now cause I've got to sleep early. Tee hee.

Okay. So about a week ago, my mom was making fabric flowers. I'll ask for pics of the procedures but for tonight, I think these will do to give you an idea of what I'm talking about :)

So those are the flowers she made. Aren't they sooooooo pretty? :)
I used the ones on the last photo and put them on her blouse. Tomorrow I'll make a better post, I promise. Haha. I really have to sleep early. Goodnight! ^_^

Woke up at 4:30 today. Yup. EARLYYYYYYYY :D

I've heard about Taytay, Rizal. They said fabrics there were really cheap, being sold per kilogram. They were so right! :)

To my happiness, i bought roughly around 5.7 kg of fabrics and half kg of lace.
Here are some pics! :)

I just couldn't leave without buying this fabric!
I still don't know what to do with it though. It's quite a lot.
1.7 kg of silk.

Silver metallic thingy! .5kg.
I'm gonna make a skirt with it.
With black lace I bought from Divisoria last week.
I can't wait to sew it!

Linen. Sand. I dunno what to do with this one too.
But I just can't leave it there!!! It was there.
Just there. Standing out in a crowd of silk fabrics.

I've been looking for this print for the longest time!
I'm so happy with this! :D

And then I needed fabrics fit for the theme "Sea Color".

So I Googled "sea" and got this:

So I bought these:

And let's not forget the half kg of lace I bought:

It was so tiring walking around carrying those. After a healthy lunch at McDo, I wanted to go home already! But we still had to go to Marikina. And so we went.

Nope. not this place. LOL. The one beside it =))

And I'll blog about this tomorrow. I'm kinda sleepy already.
